RECEIVING YOUR ARTWORK

Packing – Artworks are safely packed using acid free paper and bubble wrap. Small and medium artworks are then placed in sturdy cardboard boxes. Wooden crates are instead used for large and very large artworks and any artworks over £2000 shipped outside Northern Ireland. Very large paintings with a side over are normally rolled up but they can be mounted/left on a stretcher on request.

Collections in person – You can collect your artwork free of charge from our gallery, Margey & Bjourson Gallery & Studio, 99 Mark Street, Portrush, BT56 8BU. Artworks can be collected within 3-5 working days from the day of your purchase, unless differently specified.

Professional deliveries & tracking your order – Artworks are delivered by major courier companies (e.g. DHL or similar). You will be given a tracking number to see the progress of your shipment and its delivery on the courier’s website. You will be notified of the delivery date as well. Deliveries in Northern Ireland might be directly made by Evana Bjourson, in this case, we will let you know when to expect your artwork. All deliveries are insured.

Shipping fees (packing, delivery and insurance) -  Packing and shipping fees are charged to the cutomer at a flat rate based on the size, weight, price of the artworks, and type of packing (boxes / crates), and destination. All shipments are insured.

Worldwide - We ship artworks to many countries worldwide. Packing and shipping fees for the larger pieces or international deliveries can be obtained by emailing evanabjourson@live.co.uk.

Delivery times - Artworks are shipped within 3-5 working days from the day of your purchase, unless differently specified. Shipping can take between 1-2 business day for local/national destinations to a few business days for international ones. Their times vary according to your destination as well as customs’ clearing process. The total delivery time therefore includes the time to prepare the artwork(s) for shipping (3-5+ business days) + the transit time to reach your destination (see tables) + the time for custom clearance if needed.

This table provides estimated delivery times in business days from the day of your order for domestic and international deliveries to major cities, assuming that the custom clearance for international destinations will take only one day. Holiday and other circumstances can affect delivery times. As previously explained, these are only estimated times, and we will communicate actual delivery times and a delivery day once the order is shipped.
